Mmm… I’m dying to know how this man goes about making his life right again. A wonderful story of repentance, change, and hope for a brighter future. Thank you for your entry!
Thank you for only hinting at past misdeeds, the story is much richer because of it. My mind has jumped across several ideas and settled firmly on none; God I love that feeling! The ‘animal/tie/man’ line as well as the closing line were especially great.
I like how you use the setting to tell the story, as well as his tie adjustment and clutching the numbers. :) The past is in the details, the suit he thought he’d be buried in and his thoughts about how he’d changed.
