Stay True (poem)

I lay here, lying on your chest
Feeling you gently go up and down
Your breathe presses against my breast
Closer I am to you, my smile is no longer a frown
Inhale, your nostrils flare up and time freezes
Exhale onto my playground, I fall so deeper
I’m so still, and so connected, Do I have all the pieces?
My fingertips caressing his hair, press on go steeper
You look so peaceful in your sleep
Dreaming about everything and anything
I hope you keep me close, and as I fall deeper and deep
I feel my eyes closing, especially as I caress your angel wings
God gave you to me, and I hope I never lose you
He gave you to me and me to you, we always must stay true
