Ooh, bizarre. It makes for one of those really twisted characters. She sort of helping-ish, at least she think she is probably. It’s not what we would do, and the kid is sure scared, but at the moment seems more scared of step-dad finding out if she isn’t hidden well enough.

Nice job getting that much ambiguity into a little story.

I was trying to find a story of yours upon which I hadn’t commented. When I couldn’t, this one struck me as a good opportunity for a sequel.
