Just Like Home
“Ready to board?” he asked. She gulped and nodded. He smiled and grasped her hand and she squeezed it tightly. This was a big change for her. Lila would be leaving her Transylvannian home, and going with him on the battleship. She sighed then walked onto the ship.
She went strait to her cabin, and John followed her. She opened the door and gasped. It was just like her room at home. The twin bed was covered with a bright blue and green pattern. The walls were painted a creamy purple, and posters of her favorite band. There was an oak dresser and desk. The little lamp on the desk had a flower shaped shade. There was even a deep green carpet covering the floor.
She squealed and hugged John fiercly. He returned her hug.
“Oh John, it’s perfect,” she said smiling.
“Good, I wanted you to feel at home,” John said, smiling as well. He pulled her into another hug, and held her tightly.
“I love you,” Lila whispered in his ear.
“I’ll always love you,” he said. Then he stabbed her, twisting the knife in her. He smiled.
