Look on the positive side.

This isn’t fair, it isn’t your time. We’ve been great together, so many good times.

I cradled him in my arms, trying to get him back on the rollercoaster of life. Oh, for one last ride. Just one.

But it could never last, I knew that when we started out together, just like all the others that came before him. The relationship runs out of steam and you end up having to throw it in the trash like some discarded junk food wrapper. I really thought he’d be the one who’d last forever.

Do you remember when we defeated the nazis? Landing at Normandy, marching through France and into Nazi heartland and returning home triumphantly? How about when our space ship came under fire by the Hyrtes? I don’t know how we pulled through. You were at full strength throughout the whole encounter and I’ll never forget it.

You were even there when my DVD remote wouldn’t work, you stepped in at the last minute and let me watch Hannah Montana in glorious High Definition.

Goodbye my Double A friend, thanks for the memories.
