Demetri returns home from school feeling so angry and frustrated with himself. Millie approaches him with a look on concern across her face.

" Demetri what happened today you look even more stressed than usual? asks Millie sincerely "

“You were right about Candice she wasn’t interested in me at all. apart from saying hello and goodbye she pretty much ignored me completely at the party. I even tried talking to her politely but she didn’t even seem to want to be there.

Then today I overheard her talking to all her friends saying how lame I was and how funny it was that I actually believed that she cared about me. She just thought it was one big joke. Why did she do that Millie?" asks Demetri feeling even more upset and confused than before he went to his 13th birthday party.

“Some girls can be really cruel Demetri. Nothing ever good came out of being so mean to other people though. She’ll get hers eventually one day, you’ll see. states Millie empathetically.
