Twisted, gruesome, and utterly without someone to really root for in all of it. A slice of the not-so-pretty life, deftly and simply put out there. Effective character voice for it too, all calm and nonchalant about it all, very telling of their life prior to these events.

This was actually inspired by your comment, THX, about getting through a skull with a dagger and a real life stabbing I saw once. The kid I saw stabbed took the blade into the sternum, where the tip snapped off. Bone is some very tough material.
