Post Apocalypse: Hydrogen REPOST FOR CHALLENGE

And the sun still sets. Its sets for me, because of me. Because I am hydrogen, the first, the only. This is my barren wasteland.

I am the only lightness now. I am Earth’s favorite child. There is nobody left.

Yet something so inanimate still needs others, even if not of the same kind. Give me carbon, nitrogen, even oxygen, and I could make the body and blood of the new race.

I am hydrogen, the first, the only, but I don’t want to be here alone.

So now the slowly eroding sun tells me that I am not alone. I’m not the only one left, there are other substances left on this post-apocalyptic piece of trash that we used to call a planet.

I will find them, because I am hydrogen, the first, but not the only, and I will find whats left of my civilization.
