I’ve been watching a lot of old episodes of Californication the past couple of weeks, and it inspired a bit of writing.

Hey when she gets out of the bathroom will you ask her if she still has my, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds tea shirt. i miss that shirt.

That was awesome. I meann, it’s dark and seedy and wrong, but it works. I get this guy. He feels like a real, reasonable, realistic person with perceptions and understanding, all of which are overridden by vice and convenience. It ain’t pretty, but it’s human nature a lot of the time. Really nicely captured with a matching character voice in the narration.

This has a good voice to it. The character is really defined.

I really like the line, " Booze kills the real memories, and the drugs invent new ones."

Great job.

Ha…great piece. Hard to read due to the terrible nature of the tale and teh callousneess of the players, but well written, as always.
