Oblivious to the title and forgetting that you wrote this on my family’s back porch, I finally realized that you were talking about God in the sixth paragraph. Cordelia moment. The trainwreck/intoxication simile is my favorite line, probably because it’s so true. I’ve never been able to look away from a movie scene with a head on collision. I also think that you gave it an interesting little twist in the second line, where God states that it was his fault. Well done.
