Great name for a planet such as this. The massive block of text is a bit unwieldy, but that’s a minor point. It’s a really good description, keeping to a sort of straight-forward style that matches the character’s distaste and ennui. I’d recommend finding a different word for ‘shimmering’ since you use it twice in one sentence.
