Ha ha. It’s tragically funny! I like it. The first verse was the best.

Sadly, tragically, depressingly true. Nicely done and pulled off in that same sort of fake gleefully, self mocking tone your protagonist espouses at the end of the poem, that it’s all a big joke, a big fat joke. Nicely done. Love the line about the taste of meat and cheese loving him more.
