77th Thunder...pt.1
Sarah had once told him about life back in the 21st century. However long ago that was. Her longtime friend, ex-flame John had accepted a job. This led to their unlikely encounter with Charles Marks.
A night that ended with lost memories, blood on her hands and the loss of everything that she knew dear to her, Sarah decided to run. Like she never had before.
That was the extent of her memories.
The man who sat amid rubble, knew her story.
On any particular day he was someone, anyone. Today, the yellow little post-it note told him his name was Sawyer.
Clever little post-it notes. They always knew things he did not.
Sawyer was waiting for her arrival, here in the destruction caused by those who came from the sky.
An unmistakable sound. He turned, rifle ready.
“Would you relax, if it was the enemy, you’d be dead”
“Sarah…the rest of Thunder Company?
“Half a klick behind me”
“So how long have you been here?”
“5 months, 17 days and this morning”
The sound of machines nearby, 77th Thunder was ready for action.
