Thanks. I really enjoyed writing this piece. It was inspired by events described in St. Augustine’s Confessions. He writes that the greatest act of sin is the destruction of a good thing just for the sake of destroying it. Ultimate pride. The flush of power that comes from taking a good thing away from the world. (Also a rebellion against God in essence.)

I like the simplicity of the story, and your reason behind it. Your vivid use of adjectives really bring out the setting of the piece. Good job.
