This is a bit of an experiment. It’s a short story that I’ve been working on, in various forms, for years, but have never been able to unstuck all the middle parts and smooth them into discrete scenes. I want to see if converting it from “monolithic short story” into Ficly series helps me do that.
Critiques are VERY much welcome, appreciated, encouraged, and needed — but even just knowing there are eyes on it makes me feel more excited about getting in there and screwing it up over and over until I get it right. :)
