Nice, subtle battlefield, more akin to the maneuvering of chess than an all out war. A relationship for the cold war era! Cute ending too and the whole thing felt real. The time course in the first paragraph was a bit confusing, almost seeming like she’d been staring at a dark screen for an hour before turning around.

Not overblown or melodramatic – a ‘slice of life’ kind of piece, which is refreshing sometimes… I am admittedly guilty of trying to pack as much drama and action as possible into those 1,024 characters!
