Sinners, Satanists, and Scoundrels.

Dorothy peeked outside of her window to look at all of the children bustle about the street, picking up sweet treats from all of the houses.
“Grandma, why can’t I get candy too?” she asked.
Dorothy’s grandma sat in her tall rocking chair. staring at the blazing fire. “Dorothy, you insufferable girl,” she belowed," Halloween is for sinners and satanists. Christians do not participate in such foul activities."
Dorothy sighed and went about peeking outside the window again. “But grandma, they look harmless…wearing their pretty costumes an all. Look over there, that one little girl is an angel.”
Dorothy’s grandma snapped her head towards the window. “SATANISTS! SINNERS! NASTY LITTLE SCOUNDRELS!” she yelped. “They mock us as they rampage the dirty streets collecting filthy garbage to rot their god given teeth out.”
Dorothy’s eyes began to water at this statement…to her, Halloween wasn’t for sinners or satanists. It was for people. or all sorts and sizes, to come together and celebrate their differences.
