My only suggestion, ‘innumerable’ does not play well with ‘quantity’. I’d go with immeasurable or something like that. Anyhow, it’s great.

I like the dark twist this one takes, especially since the consultation of the cross brings Ray’s sanity into question.

Very twisted entry into the challenge. I liked the rich and poor distinction there. The flock sounds pretty freaky. I was almost picturing zombies, just cause I’m in a zombie mood. Still, it had a decidedly scary feel to it, zombies or not.
