The tag ‘four-part idea’ gives me confidence that this will move somewhere remarkable, but this first piece is a bit… Empty.

Obviously the set-up is important, and the news report is suitably foreboding and intriguing, but I didn’t get a lot from the characters, other than some undertones of marital strain perhaps?

Not an entirely novel scenario, especially since I just watched ‘Doomsday’, but I really like the cute character set up in the first paragraph.

But otherwise, I denno maybe a little more dialogue would have helped but I think the point is pretty clear.
