Bad Habit
You stand at a crossroads. To the East the road disappears into a forest. To the West the road heads into the city. To the North is a huge, gnarled tree.
>North
You smack into the tree, making an acorn drop on your head. Ouch!
>take acorn
As you pick up the acorn you hear an angry chitter up in the branches.
>look
Where would you like to look?
>look up
In the branches of the tree is a large, angry squirrel. Apparently you interrupted his lunch with your stumbling.
>give acorn
Give the acorn what? A bath, a back rub?
>throw acorn
You start the throw the acorn at the squirrel and stop, realizing that all you’ll end up doing is bouncing it off the tree and back at your head. Ouch!
>#(#*%
&
Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?
>south
You start to back up, the acorn still in your hand. The tree opens its eyes and stabs you with a branch, taking back its lucky acorn. You bleed to death, feeding the tree with yet another adventurer dumb enough try and steal from the Stingy Tree.
