I had to study the poem for a moment to feel like I understood its message. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing.

It’s basically talking about scratching at a crystal ball because you can’t see the future; and that fear sooner or later makes you lose your mind.

I spent less then 10 minutes on it, so if it lacks clarity I"m actually not too surprised. Heh.
