Nicely told, for sure. Not sure how to visualize wings that go from the back, over the rump, and down the legs. For a sec I thought you meant real wings, but I think you meant tattoos. Maybe it’s just late, and I’m easily confused today.

A great story about an artist, you can picture him taking in the “canvas” before deciding what the final finished piece will be. Like a sculptor that talks about bringing out the final form from a piece of marble. Great story!
