In the life of every struggling businessman, there comes a time when all hope is lost, and you will try anything to rescue the endeavour you were once so proud of from total failure.

In these difficult economic times, it may not be so strange to see accountants sweeping the streets, or lawyers waiting tables – choosing to live with at least some kind of regular income. Yet there are still those plucky entrepreneurs that decide to stick it out, resorting to any method of guerilla marketing in a desperate attempt to drum up business.

And so it was that Mr Ram ‘Catere’, which may or may not be a misspelt variant of ‘caterers’, sat down at his computer and decided that the prime internet retail space – the ultimate location for a grammatically nonsensical piece of publicity for his trusted, Pune-based firm would be the short-story community of Ficly.

Recent figures have confirmed that the advertisement he sent in Ancient Greek, via fax, to the the International Space Station, has so far yielded more orders.
