It makes sense to me. Reminds me of a short story called Barn Burning and also Farenheit 451, of course. Very solid!

I see first hand how excited firefighters get when they get a call, so it’s never a surprise when one turns rogue and becomes an arsonist. This was wonderfully written, as always.
