In the final paragraph, I think you mean “that Polkovnik” instead of “the Polkovnik”. The title could use some fixing as well: “amd”.
This installment illustrates why I’ve been enjoying this collaboration so much. You’ve managed to change just about every direction I was headed in. Not major shifts, but still noticeable. Ah well, adopt, adapt, improve… ;-)
@Jessica: Thank you so much for your support. I can’t speak for both of us but it means a lot to me.
@August: Edited the title (I don’t usually spellcheck the title for some reason- ugh), I wasn’t sure on Polkovnik because it is a title as opposed to a name. I will change it if you think it’s warranted though. I am enjoying this- it always my first priority when I check in here (at Ficly). I don’t understand why you’re not frustrated because if I was working with someone and they changed my expectations every time… I think I would be frustrated. Don’t get me wrong this is great fun and the longest series I’ve been a part of. I guess to each their own? Thanks for partnering with me! Cheers!
Nicely wrought. Quite the situation, and I like how it’s set up not just as the promise of luxury but the fulfillment of lots of years’ worth of yearnings.
@Robert Hmm. Normally I do at least a bit of research. For some reason, I just assumed that Polkovnik was a name. I see now that it isn’t. Learn something new every day.
As to my level of frustration, whoever said I wasn’t frustrated by what you’re doing? ;-) Don’t change.
