Hunter: Confusion
Vision faintly blurry, I peered up at Jason and Mack. “Hi… Guys…” Unable to speak much more, I lay on the floor still. Curled up and panting, I wondered, if this felt so good, why it still left me with no breath. The two stared at me, one pair of warm jade green, the other of cool blue ice. Each so… Special. Warmth, cold… Both would feel so good right now. Mack finally reached out a hand and placed it on my back. I smiled, and Jason knelt down and picked my up. Placing me on Mack’s bed as Amy rolled off it and stood, the three just stood there and stared at me. Finally, a few minutes of awkward silence later, I rasped, “What’s wrong?”
“Carlie… How do you feel?” That was Jason.
“I’m kinda tired… Can I sleep?”
“NO.” That was Mack. “You can’t, c’mon, we have to show you!”
I whined pitifully, but Mack picked me up and started to carry me out of the room. I snuggled into his warm body, but was put down abruptly in front of a mirror. I opened my eyes, staring at myself. What I saw shocked me.
