Steampunk Frankenstein? Fun idea, and I like the personalization of your mad scientist—really made me feel for him. Maybe a bit heavy on the adjectives (do we need to know the table is mahogany?), or it’s early and I’m cranky.

I might overdo it on the adjectives some times. Thanks to primary and secondary teachers saying “This needs more detail”. The mahogany part is really trying to describe the whole place, along with the glass and redwood. To give a bit of an idea of the look of the place to those unfamiliar with steampunk.

Awesome ideas, but still leaving enough scope for sequels . . .
