Careful, Elsha — as they say in the movie, it is possible to over-frolic.
I like the gradual line lengthening over the course of the poem, starting more abrupt and becoming looser. It nicely reflects the theme of increasing freedom.
Nice little poem, and kind of funny since I just read Tad Winslow’s entry in the ‘Stealing Styles’ challenge where he copied your style…and this feels a lot like a Tad poem.
It does seem like something I’d write… but I seem like a multitude of other writer’s and artists— if you were familiar with them you’d see right through me. This style belongs to no one, and I’m happy that it’s in good hands when PJ tries it on for size!
