Oh, man. I was really liking that guy until the end. I wonder if his time travel gave him any info on how to evade being caught for the crime? And did he manage to change the future after all?
“Fifty years ago” confuses me — I’m not sure if it means that he came forward from the 1960s, or that the story is being told from the 2060s and Jim shot the guy in the current year, or what.
That’s a small thing, though. Nice take on the theme.
Twisted, though I felt I followed the time travel fairly well. Rather petty use for time travel, but I guess that kind of serves as metaphor for a lot of silly, petty things we do out of anger or loss.
Minor point, it’s generally considered less desirable to start a sentence with a conjunction, such as ‘and’.
