You can run from death but you can’t hiiiiide! I liked it. Introspective and something that I’d like to read more of, or possibly add on to myself if you leave it be for a bit. It reads in places like a poem— the frosty scowls and such are left unclear (at the moment) just like a poem tends to describe certain items with emotion in place of exactness.
It’s like a dream, very other-worldly and surreal from the bones to the phoenix. It also feels cold, with the ice and the rejection and the death and the companion-less-ness.
