Brutal, but I remember how this series began. Quite the violent and bloody scenario here. I like the back and forth between who is really in the lead, though that got a little confusing in the dialog bits. My favorite part was the realism of losing his nerve and grip at the end.
Good continuation. The action is seamless throughout and especially the last few paragraphs. I could have used a reminder as to who was saying what though… but it was clear enough… it just made me stumble a little to figure out who was talking— most likely due to the fact that I’m not familiar with who V. is since this is my first read into the series. You repeat slight variations of blood body, bloody bodies in back to back sentences up near the beginning. That too is something that I would edit, for more variation and depth of vocabulary which will in turn make those descriptions better. Overall well done, dude :)
