“wake up Mendoza… we’re Oscar mike…” Said pvt.Macintosh, “great..” I replied.I slowly got out of my small, depressing little bunk. I changed into my uniform, and walked out to the armory.

“Yo hot shot! laughed cpl.Zuniga. “hey..” I said groggily. “sleep much?” she teased, I snorted at my partner. We’d know each other since diapers, so i let her jokes slide, although i was a higher rank then her. Not to brag or anything.
