I hate war…but I love reading about it. The last line is really impacting. :)

Brutal and really does get across the savagery of combat and the feel of a very desperate situation. That second paragraph got hard to follow/read because of the fragments. Fragments work from time to time, but here it just didn’t work for me.

Yeah, those fragments bugged me too. Thanks for calling me out on it. Hopefully the revision is easier to follow.
