To make a seasonal film connection, Rose reminds me of Sally in ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ – they share that yearning, for knowledge, life, passion.

Ironically, what a robot might gather about the kind of fun and frolics that can be had in snow from films, paintings, stories, might not actually reflect real life – at least at the minute, snow seems to represent transport hell, economic bother and damp shoes rather than magical adventures!

Oh, she was a robot? I took her to be a child hooked up to some sort of life-support apparatus. Either way, excellent piece.
