Kyle and Fred met for breakfast at the Chicago University Cafe. Fred was a genius and an expert bird watcher and taxidermist. Kyle came from a rich family. Fred’s family had money sure but Kyle, his family had old money and lots of it. They had met just this year when they enrolled in Princeton after finishing their bachelors degrees elsewhere. While intending on going through law school, neither had enrolled just yet, taking a year to do some post graduate classes before beginning law.

The two had become fast friends as soon as they met, having this near “On the Road” Kerouac like affinity for each other, Kyle the Dean Moriarty to Fred’s Sal Paradise. Kyle had ‘finished’ high school by age 16. He then took 2 years to bum around the world until graduation, racking up a years worth or college credits and several scandals along the way. Kyle had actually heard of Fred during a PoliSci class when he finally settled into the University of Michigan.
