Ooh, you just had to go and make it dastardly and disastrous after I tried to avoid having an entire school full of kids get melted down to goo. Going to have to think on this, as it once again puts at least this protagonist in the position of knowing about a disaster and having to debate what to do about it.

One kind of interesting thing is that my writing partner in another series I’m doing threw in tracking down and (eventually) rescuing a couple of school buses full of people to be processed in that story. Perhaps we could make it a crossover.
