awww, I signed out then read this and then had to immediately sign back in. Its simplicity and strong rhythm helps carry what you have to say to the page very well. Longing, sad, true, it’s all of that. I can feel this one and that’s a good indicator of something worthy of reading— and I’m glad you let us/me read it, even if he/she will never see it :)

I think it worked in a poem nicely. It’s hard to move on when once fixated upon someone so strongly.
