“…nightly journey to the land of nod.” Love that line.
It got a bit disjointed towards the end, though I can’t tell if it’s due to a few typos or taking the character voice for the narrator a step too far. Neat story though, sets up the kid for lots of potential, either just navigating life with some neuroses or just finally meeting up with them aliens.
