Bizarre and dark. Seems like a futuristic form of addiction, one powerful enough to draw him back in despite the food and water not really being met. I like that it really shows the decisions involved in addiction very clearly, that everything else is given up. Nice job.

I liked how you portrayed the POA’s addiction, but I didn’t quite get how the last line fitted – like time burned as the POA was using his addiction?
