Elowyn
Because Elowyn was young (and therefore horrible) she found it quite easy. “Goldy,” she sighed at her brother, “Goldy I hope you’re not scared.”
Elowyn’s brother (who did not enjoy being called ‘Goldy’ but did not find King’s Gold Elmer Holden much better) looked ill and unsure, but he always did, and because he said nothing else Elowyn decided that he must be fine.
Because King’s Gold was also young (and therefore also horrible) he managed to forget about the slick wetness between his fingers. ‘As a farmer’s boy I should have learnt this ages ago, anyway,’ he thought to himself, though it was Elowyn who ended up doing the worst of it. He could hardly hold the tiny corpse in his hands and it was only to his great fortune that the Ifrit was far too disinterested to berate him, or even look at him.
“Goldy, you have to drop it if we are going to complete the spell”Goldy dropped it.
