Very imaginative, or is this actually happening? I hope not, though I wouldn’t put it past some people. Really nice job using the tags and a cliffhanger to entice a sequel out of someone.

At this point I hope that it only exists in my imagination. I almost didn’t write this because of the possible repercussions. I’d feel awful if someone read my story and said “Now that’s a good idea,” but I’m not responsible for other people’s behavior either. Thanks for the kind words!

I agree with the other commenters. It’s a sad reflection on our society when a story as appalling as this sounds completely plausible.

Ooph, I feel a little queasy at the idea of it. I love how you balanced the term “policy” against the idea of internet bullying and pushing strangers to the point of suicide through trial by internet tactics (which, I should imagine, would be far more brutal than simple trial by media – or are the two one in the same these days?).
