I appreciate the droll normalcy of this story, and how it’s mixes in discomfort and unwillingness. I imagine this situation happens to a lot of people on both sides.
Who, really nicely written from the perspective of the doc tasked with giving the new. I love the ominous and still mysterious aspects of what is going on, both with her and on a larger scale. Great prequel to add another layer to the one in the original piece.
My actual thought was the episode of Stargate where the aliens make it so that the humans are all incapable of having kids. Or ‘Children of Men’ or ‘V’ or… there’s so many sci-fi things that have infertility as a theme.
