A Letter From Any Place You're Not

Dear Julia,

It’s been a month or so now, and I think it’s about time I should write back home again. Seattle has been treating me well. The weather is great up here, and things are great at my job. My apartment is nice, it’ll do for now. Peter has grown up so fast in three years. He’s a good kid. I just might let him drive some of the way home. He looks like such a man now, you’d barely recognize him. He’s brilliant, just like his mom. I’ll make a point to take another picture of us and sent it through e-mail. We both miss you more than you know and we’ll be home in a few months. Just wait for us.
