The second sentence in the second paragraph seems a little clunky to me, but the entire next paragraph is twisted, nasty gold.

Not necessarily about dogfucking.

It’s shocking but not just played for shock value. The first paragraph and the last paragraph are about dogfucking (the first only in retrospect) and the rest is about a guy trying to make ends meet.

Something about that last bit, “Wonders never cease”, feels a little awkward to me. In a way it just doesn’t feel necessary. But, what the hell, I’m probably talking shit.
