“Ali!” she was already running up the stairs with Patrick.
“What happened? I couldn’t hear anything”
“He…He’s leaving. He doesn’t want to be a hero anymore.” She looked at Pat and back at me.
“We have to stop him!” She said turning and going down the stairs. I didn’t move. She stopped and turned around.
“Sarah?”
“Where’s Johnny?” I asked.
“He’s on his way. We’re gonna go try and find Luke.” I nodded. They continued down the stairs and out the door. As soon as they left I fell to the ground and just sat there.
