I Love You

I stood there for a while, just looking out the door leading to my balcony, unable to believe he was actually standing there. He looked disheveled. His hair was matted down against his forehead with occasional raindrop dripping from the end and running down his face making it seem like he was crying. His shirt was sticking to his body, accenting his muscular figure, all the ridges of his body. I closed my eyes for a second. I shouldn’t be noticing this about him. Remembering what he told me this afternoon. When I opened my eyes I noticed he had turned away. He looked back on more time then began climbing down. I continued to watch until I realized what was happening. I couldn’t let him walk away. I opened the door and ran out.
“Alex!” I yelled. He turned around looking up at me. I ran inside then downstairs. I swung the back door open and ran over to him. As soon as I reached him I flung my arms around his neck.
“I love you too” I whispered to him as we stood in rain.
