It’s amazing how the dystopian science fiction that was written to terrify us into action against a possible future was used not as a cautionary tale but as a blueprint. We live in a time when the visions contained within ‘1984,’ ‘A Brave New World,’ ‘Blade Runner,’ and ‘Fahrenheit 451’ are the reality we accept.
It’s a good point. Kind of minimal story around it, but the point is valid…only we don’t have flying cars yet and realistic looking androids. That really sucks when you think about it since we have the bad parts but not the fun ones.
