Nicely crafted in terms of the story elements. He’s got a nice B.S. reason, enought to make the therapist in me rankle and want to recommend therapy instead of this daring venture. Great way of ending it with a cliffhanger that suggests a whole lot more.

I thought perhaps he could be a villain who wants to use the gypsy to learn the secrets of conquering death.. or gain some power. He needs a much better excuse to gain this knowledge tho. She is in intrigued, right where he wants her.
