This works well as either a portrait of a man riding the frenzied edges of guilt or as a very visceral acid trip that begs for a sexy jazz soundtrack.
I agree with the above comment. I didn’t read the prequel but as a stand alone this smartly shows a confused, befuddled mind. Slight crit: I believe it’s inebriation
