Amen
Once again, death’s cold shadow came over me. A chill so cold it could freeze time itself.
Everything stopped. Time has an odd tendency to slow while your dying. An ironic courtesy. I couldn’t even find the strength to show my frustration. There was no point. I’d be dead soon anyway. Bleeding out was a slow painful way to go.But not as painful as having to watch someone die right in front of you. I was about to end it all myself, but my vision began to fade as the sniper and machine gun fire continued around me.
